ZERAF is entering a new phase focused on implementation and validation in real building environments through living‑lab and pilot‑scale collaborations. While the technology is not yet a market‑ready product, it has reached a level of development that allows it to be tested and demonstrated in real buildings under operational conditions.
The ZERAF façade system has been designed to deliver high performance while fitting architectural quality, and to be applicable to both new constructions and existing building retrofits. Conceived as a prefabricated and modular solution, ZERAF is intended to be implemented as a turnkey system, enabling controlled installation and monitoring in real environments.
At this stage, ZERAF is seeking partners interested in hosting pilot buildings or living‑lab implementations, including building owners, public authorities, designers, and innovation‑oriented developers. These collaborations will support the validation of performance, integration, and usability, while generating evidence to guide future market uptake.
Pilot implementations are a key step in translating research and innovation into robust, scalable solutions for adaptive and resilient building envelopes.
